Clasp & End Caps >

Clasps and end caps are available in silver or bronze.  Widths available are 1/4″ or 1/2″.  Custom end caps are available upon special request and are subject to custom order prices. The IM Silver End Caps are NOT for Sale to other jewelry makers.

Colors

If you do not have a horse, you will need to choose a color.  There are several colors to choose from.  Black, Brown, Sorrel, White, Gray, Mixed, Blue, Green, Orange, Green, and Purple.

The conchos & pendants are made to order.  The concho & pendant page are examples of pendants that I have made in the past. Please indicate a pendant design on the order form.  I can incorporate names, brands, and logos.

Length

Length is the most important part of the special order process.  I am asking for the TOTAL finished length.  Remember it is easier to make the piece shorter, it CAN NOT be made longer.  Please be aware that I will make the jewelry to the length that you provide on the order form.  I ask for the TOTAL length, which includes the braid, end caps, and clasp.

The TOTAL length should be what you want the finished piece to be.  If you provide a length and the finished piece is too short, I will not be able to make it longer.  So measure twice!  If you need the pieces resized there is a $5.00 charge plus $8.25 shipping back to you.

Necklaces,  measure around the neck to the place where you would like your necklace to lay.  This measure does not include the pendant Length that is the measurement that I need. You can always measure a different necklace to get a total length.

Bracelets, measure at the largest part of the wrist. Then add an additional 1/2″ to that.  For example, if your wrist measures 6 1/2″, your bracelet measurement will be 7″.  The very best method for getting a good measurement is to measure a bracelet that you have and like now.

Women 7 to 7 1/4″
Men 8″ to 8 3/4″

Payment

On special orders, I will take photos of the completed item and send them to you.  If you approve and are happy, then you pay.  I will send an invoice through PayPal, you DO NOT need a PayPal account to pay this invoice.  If you are uncomfortable paying this invoice via PayPal, I can manually key in your card number, however, these transactions will be subject to a $5.00 processing fee. All major credit cards…Visa, Master Card, Discover, and American Express, are accepted through the PayPal invoice.

I accept cashier or money orders but will hold the order until the check has cleared my bank.  After payment is received I will send you the items that you ordered and the leftover hair from your horse.

* Due to rising costs, I will be forced to charge a credit card processing fee.  3.5% on all credit card charges.

**ANY JEWELRY NOT PAID FOR WITHIN 6 MONTHS OF THE ORIGINAL INVOICE DATE, becomes the property of IM Silver and will be SOLD.

Please note that orders require 6 to 8 weeks. This does not include shipping time. Please print and fill out the order form.  This is not a must, but it may help get all the important information needed to make your perfect keepsake piece of jewelry.

Custom Silversmithing Orders

All custom order conchos and buckles are subject to a $25 design fee.  This design fee covers my time to meet with you to get the item details, drawing the item (the original design) for approval and allows for 1 design change to the original design.  Changes made after the one change are made at $35.00 per change unless the mistakes are at my fault.  The design fee is non-refundable and is not included in the total price or the item being made.  The design fee payment is required upon delivery of the original design.   All orders will be confirmed via email before work is started on the item, such email will serve as a binding contract between IM Silver and client.  On custom orders over $150.00, a deposit is required.  This deposit is 1/2 the cost of the finished item.  Quotes for custom order items DO NOT include shipping.

WARRANTY/Repairs

I stand behind all the jewelry that I create.  Please be advised that the jewelry that I make is HAIR, it can take some wear and tear but is somewhat fragile.  I will be happy to repair finished pieces that have pulled out of the end caps at no charge, you are responsible for shipping back to you, which is $8.25.  I can not fix hair that is broken.  I recommend wearing the jewelry day in and day out, I feel that the oils in your skin help the hair stay stronger.  I am not responsible if the hair becomes brittle and starts to break.  I have been wearing the same necklace for 7 years and it is still in perfect condition, with proper care your jewelry should last for several years.

• Jewelry made with MANE HAIR is NOT covered under this warranty.
• I will be happy to repair finished pieces that have pulled out of the end caps (all hair NOT single hairs) at no charge, you pay $8.25 shipping fee.
• Repairs on orders 6 months and less are at no charge UNLESS YOU ARE AT FAULT FOR DAMAGE, you pay $8.25 shipping fee.
• Repairs on orders 6 months to 1 year are subject to a $25.00 repair fee, you pay $7.25 shipping fee.
• Repairs on orders 1 year and older are subject to a repair fee to be demanded when jewelry arrival back to me and a $8.25 shipping fee.
• Jewelry NOT WORN and received back to IM Silver within 10 days will be considered for a full refund.

***Please Note

Please only send TAIL hair. Mane hair is not as strong as TAIL hair and will not last the same as TAIL hair. I am unable to make jewelry out of mane hair.  I can make tassel key chains, tassel earrings, or memory tail tassels with the mane hair, but no jewelry.  Send the longest tail hair possible.   I need room to braid.
